Colts QB Colt McCoy to miss out on Patriots OTAs
Colts quarterback Colt McCoy will miss the first three OTAs and will not play in the preseason opener against the New England Patriots.
McCoy has missed four games with a torn ACL.
“I am hopeful we can have him back this week and have him get his legs moving,” Colts coach Chuck Pagano said.
“He is a player that has a long career ahead of him.
He is a special player, and we will see him again in a week or two.”
The Colts are set to host the Jets at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sept. 12 and then host the Saints on Sept 13.
They will then host Jacksonville on Sept 14 and then return home for the final three preseason games.
