Target Ties With Korn, Target’s Latest T-Shirt Color: Spiderman
Target is working with SpiderMan, the American band whose frontman, SpiderMan, is the latest target in a long line of superheroes.
The shirts feature a spider motif, the design of which has been inspired by the comic book character.
The shirt will hit stores next month.
Spiders in the comic are often portrayed as a superhero’s nemesis, and SpiderMan is one of the most popular superheroes in comics.
Target says the shirts are a tribute to the band, which has a catalog of more than 100,000 items and a fan base of more that 50 million.
“We love the Spiderman name and the band’s history, and wanted to bring the Spiders to life with our T-shirts,” said Mark Smith, vice president of merchandising for Target.
Spider Man has sold more than 5 million shirts worldwide, including many shirts that feature the Spider-Man icon.
